안녕하십니까?
뉴질랜드에 살면서 MMZ에 작품을 올리고 있는 한규목이라고 합니다.
제가 뉴질랜드에서 프라모델 의뢰작 제작 사업을 하면서 느꼈던 애로사항을 해결해줄 회사를 찾다가 못 찾아서 제가 직접회사를 설립하고자 얼마전에 한국에 들어와 있습니다.
회사이름은 Scale Model Connections Korea이고 법인회사입니다. 다음주에 법원에 등기를 할겁니다. 이 회사가 할 사업은 프라모델 완성작 거래중개입니다.(제작자와 구매자를 연결해드리고 저희는 수수료를 받는 수익구조입니다) 저희 회사와 Artist분이 계약을 맺으면 저희 회사가 구매자를 발굴하여 연결해 드립니다. 그래서 구매자가 제시한 가격조건등이 마음에 드시면, 저희 회사를 통하여 계약금을 받으시고 제작을 완성하면 나머지 잔금을 받으시게 됩니다. 구매자는 한국뿐만이 아니라 전세계의 수집가가 대상입니다. 저희 회사가 계약을 맺으신 모델러분들에게 제공할 서비스는 구매자 발굴뿐만 아니라 사진촬영, 포장/배송대행, 보험가입, 클레임 처리대행등의 서비스를 제공할 예정입니다. (제작자가 직접하셔도 됩니다. 선택사항입니다. 저희에게 의뢰하실 경우 수수료가 직접하시는 것보다 상승합니다)
회사설립 및 사업자등록은 다다음주면 완료될 예정이고, 회사의 웹싸이트도 5월말까지 개발완료할 예정입니다.
그래서 창업 첫 번째 사업으로 한국의 Artists 30여분과 전속계약을 체결하고자 합니다.
(뉴질랜드 Artists도 20여분 전속계약을 할려고 IPMS Auckland게시판에 올렸고 많은 분들이 관심을 보이고 있습니다) 저희 회사와 계약을 맺고 저희 회사에 프로필 및 작품사진을 올리는 작업이 완료되면 바이어 발굴을 위해서 미국시장을 들어갈려고 합니다. 현재 코트라(한국무역진흥공사)와 1차 상담을 마쳤고 코트라가 시장조사 및 바이어발굴을 도와주기로 약속했습니다. (뉴질랜드에서는 NZTE: New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, 한국의 코트라와 유사한 정부기관에 도움을 요청할 예정입니다. 제가 우리나라에서 Artists 전속계약이 마무리되면, 뉴질랜드에 들어가 뉴질랜드 Artists 전속계약을 마무리해서, 이것을 들고 NZTE를 만날 겁니다.)
제가 MMZ쪽지로 30여분께 연락을 드렸고 그중 15여분이 저희 회사와 계약을 체결하기로 하셨습니다. 참여하시고 싶은 분은 제 전화(010-2708-9025)로 연락을 주시기 바랍니다. 그리고 당장 일이 바쁘셔서 제작을 못하셔도 상관없습니다. 일단 계약이 체결되면 저희 회사 웹싸이트에 프로필과 작품사진을 등록해 놓으시고 시간이 날때까지 의뢰를 안 받으셔서도 됩니다.

Introduction of Scale Model Connections NZ Limited and Collaboration Opportunity
Dear Members of IPMS Auckland,My name is Chris Han (Han, Kyu Mok), and I am a member of IPMS Auckland. I am writing to introduce a new business initiative that I have recently established in New Zealand and Korea: Scale Model Connections NZ Limited.& Scale Model Connections Korea Co., Ltd.While running my scale model commission work in New Zealand, I often found it difficult to manage various non-production aspects of the business—such as sourcing buyers, packaging, international shipping, insurance, and claim handling. Despite searching extensively, I was unable to find a service provider that could comprehensively support these needs.As a result, I decided to establish a company to address this gap in the market.
About Our Business
Scale Model Connections NZ Limited is a platform designed to connect scale model artists with collectors worldwide. Our business model is based on facilitating transactions between modelers and buyers, while earning a commission on successful deals.In addition, the platform will include an online community for scale model enthusiasts, creating a space for showcasing work and engaging with collectors.
Services for Modelers
For modelers who enter into an agreement with our company, we will provide:
- Buyer sourcing (global collectors, not limited to New Zealand)
- Contract facilitation and payment handling (deposit & final balance)
- Packaging and international shipping support
- Insurance arrangement
- Claim handling and dispute support
Our goal is to allow modelers to focus entirely on their craft, while we manage the business and logistics side.
Business Progressive
- Company incorporation and registration: Expected to be completed within the next two weeks
- Website development: Scheduled for completion by the end of May
- Initial plan: To sign exclusive agreements with approximately 20 selected artists in New Zealand.
- Initial plan: To sign exclusive agreements with approximately 30 selected artists in South Korea
We are also preparing to enter the U.S. market as our first major overseas target.We have completed an initial consultation with KOTRA, and they have agreed to support us with market research and buyer development.We are currently looking for talented modelers who may be interested in collaborating with us as founding artists on the platform.If you are interested, I would be happy to share more detailed information and discuss potential collaboration.
